This is an attempt. Hopefully it will stick.

What is up with me these days? Nothing much, which should make this interesting. "I got 99 problems..." sorry that's what Pandora has decided to play right now. Let's start there. I am at work right now, which means I should be doing work. I like my job. It has it's problems like any job does, but less than the ones I've had so far. For the most part I like the people I work with, with some exceptions. Music has been an issue from the start. The environment we work in allows for us to listen to music for the majority of the work day. In the beginning there was the radio. This area has an abundance of country and classic rock stations. They took it easy on the cuntry, but the classic rock got old quickly after about the 100th playing of "Freebird." I took matters into my own hands and we started listening to XM radio online. With the plethora of available genres you would think that there would be no problem, but one of my associates decided the only station to listen to was Lucy, the 90's alternative station. Now don't get me wrong, that is the music I grew up listening to, but it gets a bit repetetive. Through some deceptive reasoning and my lack of desire to pay for it we switched off to the free AOL radio. We ran into the same problem there. So, lately I have tried to turn everyone on to Pandora. Everybody is free to enter bands they like and we tend to get a variety and from time to time I get to hear some rap, some punk, some ska and various other music I like. It's a bit strange as it is intersperced with country and oldies, but I don't mind most things in moderation.
